Smartthings app for gear s3 download

So, are there any plans to make a smartthings app for Gear S3? Is it possible to port Smartthings 1. SmartThings, Samsung, your silence is deafening and your input, whether positive or not means a lot to this community. I became a member with v2 and have no regrets, mostly in part to the community; please return the favor and give us something here! So my S3 is here and I am loving it, minus the very obvious missing SmartThings app.

I am thinking something like the 4 contact widget, but allowing you to select 4 switches or perhaps even a routine one. Please, please let this happen. I can integrate Alexa with SmarThings, but not my S3. I wish Samsung would take some pages for the Apple playbook and make easy product integration a key part of their strategy. One option is to use the android app CleverObjects. You can basically control any ST device from your watch and it also has voice control.

Anyway, access to the SmartWatch status would be cool. I heard someone even used the watches status to turn things off when the watch sensed they where sleeping.

And do you have the watch status working in SmartThings as an Automation Condition? My S3 behaves in an identical fashion. I find the Smarthings app on the S3 to be worthless. I installed an Alexa app and can use that to execute things on Smartthings. I ask to support a resolution, they told me to send them log file of watch and phone.

Do you need to have the Connect app installed on your phone first? It works BUT I do find that sometimes it disconnects from the hub I am using a Smartthings Hub 2 and I have to wait around 10 seconds before it connects again. Not sure if this is happening with others I am using a Note 8 but it is annoying as when I get to the door, having to wait that long is too long.

I can just punch up the code to my Schlage lock and be in before the button shows. The watch is a gear S3 classic. On the phone is Samsung connect, fully installed and running. I recently upgraded from a Note 4 to a Note 9.

After switching phones, my Gear S3 Watch got reset.
