I need AirPlay to listen from my HomePod, but this is literally the second audio app out of dozens I have seen that does not support that. Chromecast would be nice too. You can buy books from the website on your device. They have not kept up with the times and technology.
What works on this app one day does not work the next. I purchased the hardcover 5 book set of the Game of Thrones and the first 3 audiobooks. The first 3 audiobooks I downloaded successfully but not without issues. On your iPhone you have to purchase it with the nook app then download it in the audiobook app.
Get it together people; it should be all in one app. I now am ready to download the audiobook 4 and 5. Unfortunately that is no longer available. I spoke to their support twice now and no one seems to know what happened or why.
